Greater Versailles Area Foundation Fund Grant

The Greater Versailles Area Foundation Fund aims to enhance the quality of life for citizens in the Versailles School District by supporting charitable, educational, and recreational initiatives. Grants are awarded to projects that address community needs, helping to establish new opportunities and sustain existing programs. The foundation prioritizes public benefit, ensuring funds are used responsibly and ethically, without personal gain or political influence, thereby fostering community development and engagement.

The Greater Versailles Area Foundation was established for the benefit of the citizens of the Versailles School District by promoting and supporting charitable, cultural, social, educational and recreational programs, agencies and institutions serving the citizens of the Versailles School District.
Grants are made for public charitable purposes which benefit citizens of the Versailles area community and respond to a wide variety of needs in the community. The size and number of grants awarded are directly related to the amount of money available each year.
Generally, grants are made: to help launch new projects which represent a unique and unduplicated opportunity for the community, to support established organizations for special purposes, and to generate matching funds.

Eligibility

Funds are available to agencies and organizations within the Greater Versailles Area School District which promote and support charitable, educational and public agencies within the boundaries of the School District.

Ineligibility

No part of the net earnings from the Fund are to inure to the benefit of private individuals or entities nor be used for carrying on propaganda or otherwise attempting to influence legislation or campaign on behalf of any candidate for public office.
