Geographic Scope: Florida colleges and universities

Funding Amount: Up to $5,000-$10,000 per project (amount varies by funding round; some rounds offered up to $5,000, others up to $10,000)

Focus Areas:

• Broaden public awareness of what it means to be human
• Community programming that extends beyond campus into the community
• Public humanities programming
• In-person or virtual events

Eligible Applicants:

• Humanities-related departments at Florida colleges and universities
• Humanities Centers, Institutes, and Programs associated with Florida colleges and universities

Program Description:
Designed to support community programming at Florida academic institutions. The program emphasizes taking important humanities conversations beyond the campus and into the community. Multiple funding cycles occur throughout the year (summer and fall rounds documented).
