Grants for Teachers & Staff
Funder: Tewksbury Education Foundation Inc (NJ, US)
Geographic Scope: Tewksbury Township School District, New Jersey
Purpose: TEF offers grants to teachers and staff within the school district to provide funding for unique and special programs and/or equipment that wouldn't otherwise be possible through the school's budget. Programs are selected to enhance and support current curriculum in content areas such as robotics, science, poetry, theater, wellness and more.
- Applicants: All teachers and staff of the Tewksbury Township School District
- Approval Required: Principal approval, Superintendent of Schools approval, and Board of Education (BOE) approval
Eligibility
- Unique and special programs
- Equipment that enhances curriculum
- Programs in areas such as: robotics, science, poetry, theater, wellness
What Can Be Funded
- Consumable items (e.g., paper, markers, food, etc.)
- Furniture or facilities infrastructure improvements
- Expenses incurred before application approval
- Salaries or stipends
- Transportation costs
- Projects involving very few students
- Sales taxes
- Programs for entertainment purposes
What Cannot Be Funded
Property Rights
All equipment, books, and supplies purchased by the TEF become the property of the Tewksbury Township School District.Contact Information

Grant Application Process
1. Contact your local TEF representative to initiate the process
2. Complete the TEF Grant Information Form
3. Submit application by June 1st deadline
4. Obtain approvals:
- Principal of the school
- Superintendent of Schools
- Board of Education (BOE)
5. Review: Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis
6. Award: Grants are awarded at the sole discretion of the Tewksbury Education Foundation
