Grants for Members in Training

Mission: Helping members in training and those in missions attend the COS Annual Meeting to significantly impact both professional and spiritual development.

Eligibility

Applicants must be one of the following:

• Ophthalmology Resident or Fellow (Must be a Member in Training – MIT)
• Medical Student planning an ophthalmology residency who has completed their 3rd or 4th year on July 1 of the Annual Meeting year (Must be a Member in Training – MIT)

What the Grant Covers

The grant typically pays for:

• Meeting Registration Fees
• Lodging (if applicable, for both individual and family members)
• Food included in the meeting

Additional Information

• For applicants traveling with family or when their program will pay all or part of expenses, refer to the detailed Grant Policy for Members in Training
• The society aims to develop active members who will invest in the next generation of ophthalmologists
• Funds are managed as good stewards of grant money with revised eligibility requirements
