Purpose: Award full undergraduate or graduate scholarships to eligible EANGUS members and their families

Award Quantity: Two (2) full scholarships awarded annually

Scholarship Value: Depends on degree selected and credits transferred; covers full undergraduate or graduate degree costs at Grantham University

Eligible Applicants:

EANGUS members, OR

Spouses of EANGUS members, OR

Unmarried sons or daughters of EANGUS members, OR

Unmarried spouses or unmarried dependent sons or daughters of deceased EANGUS members who were in good standing at time of death

Scholarship (academic merit)

Character

Leadership

Financial need

Special Considerations:

No consideration given because of friendship, rank, grade, parents' information, spouse information, or geographical place of residence

Conditions:

Recipient must begin studies at Grantham University within 6 months of award

Scholarship is only valid in name of original recipient and cannot be transferred

Recipient must grant permission to Grantham University to release scholarship application information to news media upon award

Recipient must maintain good academic standing

Recipient must remain continuously enrolled as defined in University Catalog

Recipient must comply with all University policies, including admissions requirements and Satisfactory Academic Progress

Fallback Process:

If chosen recipient fails to respond within 30 days indicating intent to accept, scholarship awarded to next highest qualifying applicant

Grantham makes three attempts to award scholarships

If first, second, and third place candidates decline, scholarships will not be awarded for that year
