Overview
The Goldmark Equal Access to Justice Internship offers a unique opportunity for 2nd and 3rd year law students to gain hands-on experience in legal aid organizations across Washington State. This 10-week paid internship focuses on essential skills such as research, writing, and client services, while supporting low-income individuals facing legal challenges. The Legal Foundation of Washington is seeking host programs to provide mentorship and guidance, fostering the next generation of legal professionals.
The Legal Foundation of Washington’s Board of Trustees is pleased to invite legal aid providers across Washington State to apply to be the host program for the 2026 Goldmark Equal Access to Justice Internship. The Goldmark Equal Access to Justice Internship is a 10-week, paid summer internship for 2nd and 3rd year law students.
Created in honor of LFW’s second president Charles Goldmark, the Goldmark Internship is a hands-on training program for law students that focuses on research, writing, casework, and client services, and is hosted by a legal aid organization in Washington State. LFW staff and Board of Trustees will work with the host program to post the intern’s job description, conduct interviews, and select the intern. If there are multiple qualified candidates, there is a possibility that the host program could have multiple interns.
