Program Overview: The Eleos Cares Foundation provides scholarships to students in Ghana and Morocco to support their tertiary education. The foundation currently has 20 active scholarship recipients and has graduated 20 previous recipients, with 3 graduates now studying in the United States.

Eligibility Requirements

Basic Qualifications (All Applicants):

  • Maintain a B average or higher

  • Come from a low-income family

  • Commit to volunteer work as a way of giving back to the community

    • For SHS (Secondary/High School) Graduates:

  • Aggregate score between 6 and 10

  • Must have applied to one of the listed programs at traditional universities or technical universities (preferably Kumasi Technical University)

  • Eligible Programs: Medicine, Pharmacy, Optometry, Dentistry, Medical Lab, Dispensing Tech, Nursing, Midwifery, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or any other physical science programs

    • For Continuing/Current University Students:

  • Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) not less than 68%

  • OR GPA of 3.80 and above (for schools with GPA scale up to 5.0)

  • OR CGPA of 3.00 and above (for schools with GPA scale up to 4.0)
