About Us The Community Foundation of NCW is a tax-exempt philanthropic organization that helps individuals, families, businesses, and agencies support charitable causes throughout Chelan, Douglas, and Okanogan counties. Gerald E. Robinson Memorial Scholarship The Gerald E. Robinson Memorial Scholarship was established in 2018 to honor Gerald "Jerry" Robinson's love of animals. Jerry Robinson was a resident of Okanogan County and was well known for loving his dogs and caring for them better than himself. It is only just, and Jerry's wish, that the Gerald E. Robinson Scholarship be used to assist others who wish to love animals as he did. This scholarship supports college students who are enrolled in a qualified veterinary or pre-veterinary program.
