Severson Agricultural Scholarship supports full-time undergraduate students pursuing a degree in the College of Agriculture who are residents of eligible Montana counties, including Big Horn, Carbon, Carter, Custer, Dawson, Fallon, Fergus, Garfield, Golden Valley, Judith Basin, McCone, Musselshell, Petroleum, Powder River, Prairie, Richland, Rosebud, Stillwater, Sweet Grass, Treasure, Wheatland, Wibaux, or Yellowstone. Applicants must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA, or—if an incoming freshman—demonstrate strong academic aptitude in high school, and must intend to pursue an agriculture-related career after graduation. Award amounts vary, and the scholarship may be renewable at the discretion of the award authority, provided recipients continue to meet eligibility requirements and submit an application each year. The scholarship falls under the Agriculture scope and is designed to support students committed to advancing Montana’s agricultural industry and rural communities.
