The names, publications, and projects of those who received these awards are a catalog of the best work produced by members of the historical discipline. George L. Mosse Prize in European Intellectual and Cultural History The American Historical Association awards the George L. Mosse Prize annually for an outstanding major work of extraordinary scholarly distinction, creativity, and originality in the intellectual and cultural history of Europe since 1500. The current prize amount is $1,000. Entries will not be returned. Recipients will be announced on the AHA website in October 2026 and recognized during a ceremony at the January 2027 AHA annual meeting in New Orleans.Eligibility
