About the BSA Founded in 1893, the Botanical Society of America (BSA) is a "not-for-profit" 501 (c) (3) membership society whose mission is to: promote botany, the field of basic science dealing with the study and inquiry into the form, function, development, diversity, reproduction, evolution, and uses of plants and their interactions within the biosphere. Genetics Section Student Travel Awards The Genetics and Genomics Section is providing 2 $550 travel awards to selected students of those who submit abstracts to the Genetics and Genomics Section for the Botany 2026 - Biodiversity at the Boundaries conference in Tucson, Arizona, August 1-5, 2026. The purpose of this award is to support students' attendance and their presentations at the conference.
