Program Details

• Partnership with University of South Carolina Salkehatchie and University of South Carolina Beaufort
• Supports nursing students at both undergraduate levels (Sophomores through Seniors)
• Funds are spendable scholarship awards distributed in full each academic year
• Intended to further educational excellence and foster community opportunity
• Mission: to empower communities by empowering students and future healthcare providers

Eligibility

• Pre-nursing students
• Nursing students (Sophomores to Seniors)
• Students enrolled at USC Salkehatchie or USC Beaufort nursing programs

Award Uses

• Spendable scholarship awards for academic expenses
• Funds distributed twice per academic year (January and September)

Background

• First scholarship awarded August 3, 2021
• Expanded from USC Salkehatchie partnership (December 2021) to include USC Beaufort (March 2022)
• Multiple scholarship recipients announced in 2022 cohort
