Program Description: The Foundation accepts grant applications through a two-step process designed to efficiently review proposals from eligible organizations.

Application Process Overview

• Step 1: Letter of Inquiry (LOI) - one page abstract
• Step 2: Complete Application (if LOI meets guidelines)
• Applications are reviewed quarterly by the Board of Trustees
• Board decisions are final

Eligibility Requirements

• Organization must have 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status from IRS

Required Information in Letter of Inquiry

• Mission of the organization and description of services rendered
• Description of the project/program for which funding is sought
• Total cost of project
• Sources and amounts of other support
• Project/program schedule
• Copy of 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status letter from IRS

• Receipt of a complete application does not constitute approval
• Only a small percentage of completed applications are ultimately funded
