Gebbie Foundation Grant

The Gebbie Foundation Grant aims to revitalize downtown Jamestown through strategic economic development initiatives, guided by the Jamestown Urban Design Plan. With funding for fiscal year 2025 being limited, applicants must submit a 1-2 page Letter of Inquiry. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and focus on enhancing the downtown area. The foundation supports matching, challenge, and operating funds to foster community revitalization efforts.

NOTE 1: Grant funding for fiscal year 2025 is extremely limited due to multi-year commitments.
NOTE 2: Initial Approach – Submit a 1-2 page Letter of Inquiry (LOI). Those with approved LOI’s should complete full applications on Chautauqua Grants by the due dates listed above.
We intentionally invest in organizations and entities whose mission supports the implementation of these strategies and invite entities to apply for grants based on objectives identified by the Board of Directors.

• The Economic revitalization of downtown Jamestown through support of the Jamestown Urban Design Plan (UDP), UDP 2.0, and other relevant economic initiatives.
• Types of Support
• Matching, challenge, capital and operating (in limited cases).
