The Fund was established in 2004 upon the retirement of Gail Burns-Smith, former Executive Director of CONNSACS, to honor her 22 years of service dedicated to ending sexual violence in Connecticut. The Fund is composed of voluntary contributions received from supporters and donors who wish to honor Gail's dedication to this cause.- Individuals whose work or study exemplifies commitment to anti-sexual assault awareness, policy, prevention, and advocacy on behalf of victims and survivors
