The purpose and scope of services for this program are to support the development
and effectiveness of new parent home visitation in Illinois by:
1. Offering support to the IDEC-DEC Home Visiting Executive Committee
2. Providing staff support to the regional IDEC Home Visiting program clusters.
3. Planning and hosting the annual Statewide Conference on Child Abuse Prevention to
include home visitor sessions track and recognition program.
4. Sponsoring an annual IDEC Home Visiting Summit training event in conjunction with the
annual statewide conference on child abuse.
