Fund4Trees Bursaries Grant

Fund4Trees Bursaries offer financial support of up to £500 for individuals seeking to enhance their arboricultural knowledge through study tours or projects. The charity promotes the conservation and improvement of treescapes, educates the public on tree protection, and advances research in forestry. Bursaries cover subsistence and travel costs, with flexibility on project timelines. Payment is divided into 75% upfront and 25% upon project completion, ensuring effective utilization of the funds.

Promoting for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by promoting sustainable treescapes.Advancing the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of trees in the physical and natural environment.Advancing research for the public benefit in all aspects of trees and to publish the useful results.
Do you know that you could get a bursary of up to £500? Funds are provided to individuals to assist with subsistence and travel costs for study tours/trips home or abroad specifically designed to expand their arboricultural knowledge.
There is some flexibility on project timings to ensure that the bursaries are used.
Payment conditions:

• on award 75% of the bursary will be paid upfront and 25% on satisfactory completion of the project.

Eligibility

Eligible applications will be assessed by Fund4Trees trustees based on the potential merits of the proposed project to the arboricultural and forestry profession, and its ability to deliver against the Fund4Trees objectives.Candidates are strongly advised to read our Research Strategy 2019-24, which guides what we will support.

Ineligibility

Fund4Trees is unable to assist in seeking any remaining funds required for the project. If a candidate is unable to obtain the total funds required to carry out their project then Fund4Trees reserves the right to withdraw the Bursary offer. The bursaries exclude group expeditions or participation in tours or courses organised by other bodies or commercial enterprises.
