INzone offers financial assistance to help businesses determine the viability and financial benefits of obtaining Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) designation. Before officially applying for FTZ designation, interested companies can receive a free feasibility study to estimate potential costs and calculate return on investment.

Award Amount:

• Distribution operations: Up to $2,500
• Manufacturing operations: Up to $5,000

Eligibility:

• Non-retail businesses in Central Indiana
• Manufacturers or distributors
• Located within FTZ service area (41 counties in Central Indiana)
• Interested in obtaining FTZ designation

What is Covered:
The feasibility study includes:

• Estimation of potential costs for FTZ implementation

Process:

• Applicants may choose a qualified FTZ consultant from INzone's pre-approved list or select their own

2. Select or Identify a Consultant - Choose a qualified FTZ consultant from INzone's pre-approved list or select your own
3. Notify INzone - Inform INzone of your chosen consultant ahead of time for qualification evaluation
4. Await Approval - INzone will evaluate the consultant's qualifications
5. Consultant Conducts Study - Once approved, your selected FTZ consultant will conduct the feasibility study
6. Review Results - Use the study findings to make an informed decision about pursuing FTZ designation
