Our Mission The Frances P. Bunnelle Foundation’s mission is to enhance the quality of life in Georgetown County by responding to current needs for a better today, and addressing long-term, systemic inequities for a brighter tomorrow. We do this by focusing in five areas: Addressing the Root Causes of PovertyMeeting Basic Human NeedsPromoting Economic VitalityPreserving the EnvironmentEncouraging Positive Youth Development Apply For Youth Board Funding This program is designed for smaller requests with quick turn-around for work in Georgetown, SC. All five of the Bunnelle Foundation’s focus areas are included. Requests may be made for up to $2,500. Funding is available for special project support only. “Special projects” are defined as those which launch new activities or programs, provide training for staff or board, etc. Salary expenses are allowable in these special project proposals when a portion of staff time is spent working on the project.

Eligibility

Funding should be spent and a final report submitted 7 months after the Foundation’s check is received. Organizations may receive no more than one Bunnelle Youth Board Grant per 12-month period.
