Foster Children Education Scholarship Grant

The monetary value of each scholarship award varies depending upon the amount available in each individual scholarship fund. Scholarship award amounts range from $1,000 - $5,000 for a single year.
The Foster Children Education Foundation Scholarship supports youth who are, or have been, in foster care in the State of Nevada. This includes: a) youth who were never legally adopted or expected to be legally adopted, b) youth who were adopted at or after age 13, and c) youth who were placed with foster families outside the State of Nevada.
This scholarship has the potential to be renewed with reapplication.

Eligibility

Are a graduating senior, or have obtained a high school diplomaAre, or have been, in foster care in the State of Nevada and a) were never legally adopted or expect to be legally adopted, or b) were adopted at or after age 13, or c) were placed with a family outside the State of Nevada at or after age 13. Are legal residents of the USHave significant financial needHave been accepted into an accredited 2-year or 4-year school, or certificate program at a trade school or vocational schoolAre not related to the donorsHave at least a 2.5 GPA at the time of application, although preference is for a 3.0 or above Agree to maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and provide a copy of unofficial transcripts at the end of each semester they are receiving a scholarship
