Overview: FOBSE sponsors a college scholarship program for students graduating from Lone Peak High School and enrolling in an accredited post-secondary institution. The program promotes "A Culture of Scholarship" in the Big Sky Community.

Selection Process

Scholarships are awarded by a committee of school staff and community members who do not have family among the current graduating class.

Donor/Donor-Established Scholarships

Donors can establish named scholarships with the following benefits:
• May name the scholarship (memorial testaments, company names, special recognitions)
• May designate specific award criteria
• Can use FOBSE's 501(c)(3) status for tax deductions
• Can determine annually their continued support
• Control public recognition of donation
• Receive technical assistance from FOBSE
