ABOUT US

At The Flowers for Dreams Foundation, we are committed to funding small and local charities in our community. As a B Corporation, our partner Flowers for Dreams LLC has always believed business should be a force for good and has donated more than 25% of its net profits to charity since 2012. Together, we have now combined to donate over $1,500,000 to more than 230 charities and counting.

Together, we're using flowers to advance causes of justice & charity in our community.

Deadline and Review Process

Throughout the year, the Flowers for Dreams Foundation board will identify charities to receive grant awards.

* Charities are identified via the application process. 
* Awards range in size from $5,000 - $20,000 and are dependent on the Flowers for Dreams LLC's sales. Grant applications are accepted on a rolling basis and year-round. They remain on file for one calendar year. 
* Applications are typically reviewed in March, May, August, and December of each year. 
* Grants awarded are typically unrestricted. However, the Foundation does require a report one year after awards are distributed outlining how the money was used, the impact it had, and the number of people served.
* The Foundation may be in touch to request photos and impact stats and stories for Foundation and LLC marketing purposes.

In 2024, we empowered youth, focusing our dollars on organizations equipping and supporting youth from childhood to early adulthood. In 2025 as Resistance Blooms, so does our capacity for care. That's why this year, we're shoring up support and resources for community care initiatives, specifically those committed to providing critical mental health services to the most vulnerable in our community.

* Nonprofits who prioritize local and shine light on disadvantaged communities
* Nonprofits who stand boldly against racism, discrimination, and injustice
* Nonprofits working to foster civic engagement and ensure equity

* WE DO NOT FUND
* Fiscally sponsored organizations
* Research or research projects
* Scholarship funds
* International organizations
* Chambers of Commerce
