Firefighter Grant Program

The Firefighter Grant Program by Missouri American Water aims to support local fire departments with financial assistance up to $1,200. Our firefighter grant program is designed to provide financial assistance to fire and emergency organizations serving communities in our service area.
The maximum grant amount is $1,200.

Eligibility

Grants are available to uniformed professional and volunteer fire departments serving communities in the company’s designated service territories.  Grant applications should indicate a need for funds to cover costs associated with the following:Personal protective gearCommunications equipmentFirefighting toolsWater handling equipmentTraining activities and materials (Reimbursement for specific costs including classes, manuals, student workbooks, etc.)
