Overview
The Firedoll Foundation offers Middle East Peace Grants aimed at fostering humanitarian assistance, economic development, and civil society support in the West Bank and Gaza. With a commitment to the rights of both Palestinians and Israelis, the foundation funds organizations working for a peaceful resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Eligible entities include 501(c)(3) organizations and non-private foundations, while ineligible projects range from individual support to large-scale initiatives.
The Firedoll Foundation is a private family foundation founded by two unrepentant liberals from the 60's who still believe in the motto, "If you are not part of the solution, you're part of the problem."
The Peace Process in the Middle East
The Firedoll Foundation funds organizations which agree that the people of Palestine and Israel have the right to share their ancient homeland in peace and security.
Given the dire conditions in the Occupied Palestinian Territories at this time, our current funding focus is on humanitarian assistance, economic development, and support of civil society in the West Bank and Gaza; support to organizations defending the internationally recognized human rights of the Palestinians living under occupation; and support of organizations working to end the Occupation.
