Overview

Fellow Scholars Program

Overview: The SGS Fellow Scholars Program, initiated in 2014, is supported by the Nancy Frankel & Lennie Siegel fund and the Dee F. Fenner Education Fund. The program fosters the next generation of surgeons by providing access to education and mentorship opportunities within SGS.

Geographic Scope: United States and Canada

Target Audience: Gynecology fellows currently registered in both accredited and non-accredited programs

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Not yet an SGS member
  • Have not attended an SGS meeting
  • Not yet engaged in SGS volunteering or research activity
  • Currently registered in accredited or non-accredited gynecology fellowship programs in the US or Canada

    What is Covered

  • Airfare reimbursement
  • Meeting registration
  • Hotel accommodations
  • 1-year complimentary Associate Membership
  • Registration to attend at least one postgraduate course
  • Attendance at Senior Members Engaging Young Learners (SMEYL) Reception
  • Participation in Fellows Pelvic Research Network (FPRN)® meeting
  • Recognition at the SGS Awards Ceremony
