Overview
Fellow Scholars Program
Overview: The SGS Fellow Scholars Program, initiated in 2014, is supported by the Nancy Frankel & Lennie Siegel fund and the Dee F. Fenner Education Fund. The program fosters the next generation of surgeons by providing access to education and mentorship opportunities within SGS.
Geographic Scope: United States and Canada
Target Audience: Gynecology fellows currently registered in both accredited and non-accredited programs
- Not yet an SGS member
- Have not attended an SGS meeting
- Not yet engaged in SGS volunteering or research activity
- Currently registered in accredited or non-accredited gynecology fellowship programs in the US or Canada
Eligibility Requirements
- Airfare reimbursement
- Meeting registration
- Hotel accommodations
- 1-year complimentary Associate Membership
- Registration to attend at least one postgraduate course
- Attendance at Senior Members Engaging Young Learners (SMEYL) Reception
- Participation in Fellows Pelvic Research Network (FPRN)® meeting
- Recognition at the SGS Awards Ceremony
