Fast Grants

Fast Grants provide one-time assistance for unplanned charitable projects that are small in scale but help organizations meet unanticipated needs or opportunities, or provide support for new and innovative projects that positively impact lives in Daviess County.

Geographic Scope: Daviess County, Indiana

Grant Purpose:

• One-time assistance for unplanned charitable projects
• Small-scale projects addressing unanticipated community needs or opportunities
• New and innovative projects with positive community impact

Eligible Applicants:

• Existing 501(c)(3) organizations in good standing with the IRS
• Existing government/quasi-governmental agencies applying for extraordinary projects not funded by tax revenue
• Faith-based organizations requesting funding for non-sectarian activities
• Civic groups that are not 501(c)(3) organizations but submit requests for charitable community causes

Example Projects Funded:

• Equipment replacement and expansion (group exercise equipment, roof repair)
• Program startup and development (childcare services, community programs)
• Communication and accessibility improvements (language assistance for non-English speakers)
• Emergency assistance (roof repair, facility needs)
