Established in honor of Evan Schumacher, a beloved entrepreneur who lost his life to cholangiocarcinoma at age 46 in 2015. Evan's resilience and strength in facing his illness inspired his friends, family, and colleagues to create this fund to honor his legacy and continue his work in finding effective treatments for rare cancers.About Evan Schumacher: Serial entrepreneur who founded four Internet companies, known for exceptional talent in spotting new trends, incredible people skills, energy, optimism, and ability to engage others. He believed anything could be accomplished with hard work, drive, and faith. Diagnosed with Stage 4 cholangiocarcinoma with lung metastases in 2014 and died 19 months after diagnosis.
