Ethan Stadler Memorial Firefighter/EMT Scholarship Grant

The Ethan Stadler Memorial Firefighter/EMT Scholarship, offered by the Ashland County Community Foundation, supports high school graduates from Ashland County accepted into accredited programs for Firefighter or EMT certification. This scholarship aims to recognize and assist aspiring firefighters and emergency medical technicians, promoting community safety and service. With a focus on local talent, it ensures that dedicated individuals receive the necessary training to contribute effectively to their communities.

Ashland County Community Foundation
The community foundation is like the community’s charitable savings account. We pool resources from community members, invest them and then use them to make grants for the betterment of the entire community. We exist to serve donors, nonprofit organizations and the community as a whole. Donors to ACCF enjoy tax advantages not available to private foundation donors. They also receive professional services without hiring staff. Nonprofit organizations receive grants from community foundations to support their programs and projects. Many nonprofits also establish their own endowment funds with the foundation as a means of investing for the future.
This scholarship is to assist a graduate of any high school residing in Ashland County who has been accepted to an accredited program resulting in Firefighter 1 or 2 or EMT-B/Advanced EMT (AEMT)/Paramedic (Medic) certification.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a member of an Ashland County fire department (a minimum of 6 months on said fire department and in good standing).
