Equity Fund Grant Program

The Equity Fund Grant Program, offered by PFund Foundation, supports LGBTQ+ small business owners in the Twin Cities Metro Area of Minnesota. Eligible applicants can receive grants of $5,000, tailored training sessions, and a one-year membership to Quorum, Minnesota's LGBT chamber of commerce. This initiative aims to enhance entrepreneurship within the LGBTQ+ community, with a total of $80,000 available in 2025. Background
If you are an LGBTQ+ small business owner who is looking to sustain and grow your business, the Equity Fund may be perfect for you! PFund Foundation is seeking LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs who have owned and operated a business for a year or more and are seeking to grow through grant funding and business education sessions.
Through a partnership between PFund and Quorum, the Equity Fund will award grants to invest in your small businesses and provide a year of business education and networking.
PFund will distribute $80,000 in grant funding in 2025. Each grant recipient receives:
A $5,000 grant to support building small business capacity and developing LGBTQ+ entrepreneurship. Six in-person capacity-building training sessions customized to the needs of LGBTQ+ small business owners. A one-year membership to Quorum, Minnesota's LGBT chamber of commerce.

Eligibility

Eligibility Guidelines Grantseekers must meet all of the following criteria to apply:You identify as LGBTQ+ and Black, Indigenous, or a Person of Color (BIPOC).Your business is located in the Twin Cities Metro Area of Minnesota.Your business has been in operation for at least one year.The annual gross revenue of your business for your most recently completed fiscalyear was $250,000 or less.Your business has 20 or fewer employees.
