  • #### Horse Judging Contest

  • High Point Individual: $4,000

  • Champion Team Member: $2,000 per member

  • Open to Texas Quarter Horse Youth, 4-H and FFA members, ages 14-18
  • #### 4-H & FFA State Proficiency Awards

  • Texas 4-H Horse Record Book Winner: $2,000

  • Texas FFA Equine Proficiency: $1,000 each (two awards)
  • #### National Ranch & Stock Horse Alliance Scholarship

  • Amount: $6,000

  • Outstanding Freshman Award at National Intercollegiate Ranch & Stock Horse Alliance Collegiate Championship Show
  • #### Texas State 4-H Horse Show

  • Amount: $12,000 total ($2,000 per division)

  • Awarded to highest placing seniors in six divisions:

  • - Roping
    - Timed
    - Judged
    - Stock Horse
    - Hunter Flat
    - Hunter Over Fences

    #### Texas Youth Escaramuza & Charro Cala Competition

  • Champion Youth Escaramuza Team Member: $2,000

  • Top 3 Charro Calas: $3,000, $2,000, $1,000 respectively
  • #### Donkey and Mule Youth Contest

  • Champion: $2,000

  • Must submit application to Southwestern Donkey and Mule Society, participate in at least 4 classes, present oral presentation, complete written exam
