ENF Community Investments Program - Impact Grants

The ENF Community Investments Program - Impact Grants aims to empower Elks Lodges to tackle pressing community issues through innovative solutions. Designed for competitive selection, these grants encourage Lodges to leverage volunteer efforts and creativity to address local needs. Projects cannot benefit Lodge members or employees directly, ensuring a focus on community welfare. The program highlights the Elks' commitment to charity, fellowship, and enhancing the quality of life for all, making a significant impact in various communities.

To inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in God; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its Members; to quicken the spirit of American patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America will serve the people and communities through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks Share.
Impact Grants are designed to set a standard of excellence in community leadership through service. The ENF is looking to award Impact Grants to Lodges who intimately understand a problem in their community, have a unique idea about how to solve it, and who are ready with the volunteer power to get it done. Impact Grants are competitive. Lodges do not need to meet the per-member-giving goal to complete the two-step award process, but funding is limited and only a select number will receive the grant.

Ineligibility

Impact Grants cannot directly benefit Elks members or Lodge employees.Impact Grant projects cannot:Be a donation of funds or supplies to another organization.
Pay salaries or personnel costs for another organization.
Establish or increase a foundation, trust or interest-bearing account.
Fund a one-time item purchase, such as a vehicle or large piece of equipment.
Be a small part of a large community capital campaign fund.
