Employer Training Grant - Early Childhood Education

The Employer Training Grant for Early Childhood Education, offered by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, supports Hoosier employers in training and retaining staff in high-demand sectors. With reimbursements up to $50,000, the grant focuses on job skills training that aligns with eligible occupations and requires at least 40 hours of training. Employers must ensure new hires earn a minimum wage of $19 per hour and existing employees receive a 5% wage increase post-training.

The Employer Training Grant is available across six key industry sectors and features reimbursements up to $50,000 per employer for successfully retaining trained workers for six months.

Eligibility

Training must be job skills training that aligns to an eligible occupation and is at least 40 hours in length.Training must yield a post-secondary credential, a nationally recognized industry credential, or be specialized company training.New employees must receive a minimum wage of $19 per hour Existing employees must receive a minimum 5% wage increase upon training completion.
