Supports publicly funded law enforcement and correctional agencies for the purchase or lease of body-worn cameras (BWCs) and the development of comprehensive BWC programs. Two categories of grants: 1) Publicly Funded Law Enforcement Agencies and 2) Publicly Funded Correctional Agencies.

Applicants must demonstrate a clear plan for phased deployment, policy development, training, and integration of BWCs into agency operations. Applicants must outline how BWC use will support evidence collection, enhance officer safety, and align with their agency policies and practices.
