A grant program designed to support Arizona-based entrepreneurs and startups with emerging technologies addressing current and future economic, health, or societal challenges.

Funding Source: In partnership with Governor Doug Ducey, $1 million was initially allocated to the fund.

Geographic Scope: Arizona-based startups only

• Originally designed to address COVID-19 pandemic challenges (as of 2020-2021)

Eligibility Requirements

• Must be Arizona-based
• Must be in revenue
• Must have been in existence for at least 12 months
• Must have five or more employees

Program Status

Applications reviewed on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted. As of the final announcement (February 10, 2021), 33 Arizona-based entrepreneurs and startups had received grants from the initial $1 million fund.
