Embracing Aging Grants Program Embracing Aging is a long-term initiative that provides education and advocacy to advance aging-in-place concepts and planning. We strive to dismantle ageism and build age-equity to help us thrive as we age. Our grants support organizations serving York County residents ages 50 and older. York County Community Foundation’s Hahn Home Fund for Women supports Embracing Aging. This fund carries on the vision of donor, Anna Gardner, who died in 1913 and left her estate to support the care of older women living in the Hahn Home. Now, over 110 years later, her legacy lives on through Embracing Aging. The Chester H. Thomas Fund also supports the work of Embracing Aging.Eligibility
