Overview
The Emberg Charitable Trust was established under the Kermit Charles Emberg Revocable Trust Agreement dated March 8, 2017. The trust provides grants for the benefit of education throughout northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. Kermit Emberg died on March 28, 2019.
The Emberg Charitable Trust provides grants to tax exempt, nonprofit and governmental vocational, technical and trade school programs located throughout northeastern Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. Preference is given to programs of study with the potential for providing qualified candidates for the workforce in prominent regional industries like forestry and aircraft maintenance. The Trust, administered by Wells Fargo Bank as trustees, awards grants yearly through applications that are reviewed at their annual grant meeting in June.
