Elm Acres Grants Fund Projects Serving At-Risk Youth The purpose of the Elm Acres Foundation, Inc. is to provide support for at-risk youth in the Southeast Kansas community (Crawford, Cherokee, and Labette counties), including supporting any entities that provide services for at-risk youth. Since 2017, the Elm Acres Foundation has conducted an annual grant cycle for programs and services for at-risk youth through the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas. Grant applications are typically available during April. Since 2017, the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK) has hosted the annual Elm Acres Foundation grant cycle to help fund projects and services supporting at-risk youth in Southeast Kansas. Since its inception, the Elm Acres Foundation grant cycle has awarded over $185,000 to vital service projects benefiting area children in Crawford, Cherokee, and Labette Counties. “These grants continue to be a cornerstone of support for at-risk youth in our area,” said CFSEK Executive Director Devin Gorman. “We look forward to seeing the innovative projects that local organizations propose this year to support the well-being of our children.”
