Scholarships Grand Haven Area Community Foundation scholarships are awarded competitively based on criteria set by donors. Our scholarship program is simple. You are able to apply once for all foundation scholarships you may be eligible for. Once your application is submitted, you will be eligible for all those for which you meet the requirement. Edward P. Suchecki Family Scholarship Fund Ed Suchecki was born and raised in Nunica, attended Grand Haven High School, and graduated in 1957. Ed was a star football player and spent much of his time coaching the Tri-Cities Kids' League, youth football, and playing golf. Although Ed did not have the opportunity to attend college, he was a successful businessman and he made sure his children went to college. When Ed died in 2000, his wife and sons established this scholarship fund which is awarded to local athletes who want to pursue a career in business.Eligibility
