Any member of HRE USA or its affiliates can nominate, while non-members are encouraged to join before submitting nominations. Human Rights Educators USA (HRE USA) has established the Edward O’Brien Human Rights Education Awards in memory of Ed O’Brien, pioneer human rights educator and valued member of HRE USA who died in 2015.
