Geographic Scope: Tompkins County, NY and surrounding areas

Purpose: Monetary assistance for professional development and continuing education in library science

Eligible Applicants

• Staff members of Tompkins County public libraries
• Tompkins County K-12 school librarians
• Students seeking an advanced degree in library service (primarily those interested in public or school librarianship)

Eligible Uses

• Attendance at professional meetings, workshops, training sessions, and conferences
• Support for students enrolled in accredited Library Science graduate programs pursuing an MLS degree
• Grants may be given for more than one year if the library school student has completed all previous courses successfully
