Edie Balser Scholarship Fund

Overview: Makes SourcePoint programs available to all by providing financial assistance to eligible participants who have modest incomes and face financial barriers to program participation.

Named In Honor Of: Edith "Edie" Balser, a longtime SourcePoint employee and dedicated community volunteer who passed away in August 2019.

Geographic Scope: Delaware County, Ohio

Eligibility:

Delaware County resident

Age 55 or older

Meet income requirements (varies by household size):

- Single person household: $16,200 or less to $32,400
- Two person household: $21,900 or less to $43,800

Award Details:

Maximum Award: $250 per calendar year

Coverage Levels: 25% to 100% scholarships depending on need

Eligible Programs: Fitness, arts, education, and social activities

Partial Coverage: Day trips and personal training limited to 50% assistance with maximum award of $100 per calendar year

Not Eligible: Overnight trips

Program Duration: Scholarships are effective for one calendar year from date of signing. New application must be submitted annually for renewal.
