Community Grants

Supporting the community with annual grants

We’re interested in learning how your nonprofit is making a true difference for the animals, children, and Catholic organizations of St. Louis, and what ideas your organization has for the future.

Organizations may submit an initial request (Introduction Form) for any dollar amount. However, in general, The Canda Charitable Trust will limit annual grants to any single organization to $50,000. Under certain circumstances, The Canda Charitable Trust retains the right to make an annual grant that exceeds $50,000, or may make a multi-year grant, the total of which may exceed $50,000.

Ineligibility

* Examples of areas the foundation does not fund:
* Direct donations or grants to individuals
* For-profit entities
* Organizations outside of the Greater St. Louis area

* Fundraising events, advertising, or other benefits
* Endowment programs (for example, brick and mortar programs)
* Political campaigns, candidates, and legislative lobbying efforts
* Tuition reimbursement
