EBCF: Community Donations Grant

The Eastern Bank Foundation offers community donations to support local needs and events in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Organizations with 501(c)(3) status can apply for donations ranging from $100 to $10,000, with an average of $3,000 to $4,000. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and applicants can expect a decision within 60 days. Note that private foundations and organizations with certain IRS designations are ineligible.

NOTE: Community Donations are reviewed on a rolling basis.  You can expect a decision from us within 60 days of your submitted application.  If a print ad request is included as part of your request, please be sure to submit your application at least 60 days ahead of your earliest print deadline.  If apply on or after your event, your request will be denied.

For more than 30 years, the Eastern Bank Foundation has been investing in organizations and people across Eastern Bank’s market area to help our communities thrive.
With our Community Donations we support organizations that have a 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS.
These donations are used for many purposes including galas, golf tournaments, and other events, as well as program support for new and existing programs, purchase of equipment or supplies, etc. Donations generally range from $1,000 to $10,000.

Eligibility

The organization must have a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status approved by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and not have subset classification of 509(a)3 or be designated as a Private Foundation to apply under this category.
