Early Career Innovation Award Grant

The Early Career Innovation Award recognizes emerging leaders in entomology who have shown exceptional innovation across various fields, including research, teaching, and public service. This award is open to individuals who are between two and ten years past their last degree in entomology, ensuring that only those actively contributing to the field are eligible. Nominations can be made by any individual, with a limit of two self-nominations per year.

This award honors young professionals working within the field of entomology who have demonstrated innovation through contributions within any area of specialization (research, teaching, extension, product development, public service, etc.).

Eligibility

The applicant must be between two and ten years past the last degree (B.S., M.S. or Ph.D.) obtained working within the field of entomology (including postdoctoral positions).The nominee may belong to any area of entomology, but must be a practicing entomologist.Professionals working within public- or private-sector organizations are eligible.Nominations can be made by anyone.  Please note there is a maximum of two self-nominations allowed per year.
You must be a member of this organization to apply for this award - become a member. The nominee must be a current ESA member.

Ineligibility

Any candidate nominated, but not selected, may be renominated no more than two times within the two-year period after his/her initial submission.
