Dylan Veselic Memorial LAX Scholarship

Type: Scholarship/Memorial Fund

Purpose: To honor the life and memory of Dylan Veselic, a Bay High School sophomore defenseman who tragically passed away during a varsity lacrosse game in May 2025. The scholarship provides support to deserving students to pursue their academic goals.

Background: Dylan Veselic was known for his passion for soccer and lacrosse, and more importantly for his kindness, loyalty, and genuine spirit. The scholarship was established to honor his life and inspire others both on and off the field.

Geographic Scope: Bay Village Schools, Bay Village, OH

Eligibility: Bay High School students (presumed)

  • Scholarship funds for academic pursuits

  • Memorial tributes and events

    • Events:

  • "PLAY for DYLAN" Community Fest on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Bay Memorial Stadium, 29230 Wolf Road, Bay Village, Ohio from 12PM-5PM

  • Features co-ed lacrosse scrimmages, food trucks, carnival games, and memorial locker room dedication

    • Ways to Support:

  • Donations (100% benefit Dylan Veselic Memorial Fund)

  • Merchandise purchases (100% of proceeds benefit the fund)
