Overview
Low-cost financial assistance to public water systems for repair and replacement of drinking water infrastructure, ensuring compliance with drinking water regulations, and protecting drinking water quality and public health. Eligible projects include new/replacement water sources, treatment, transmission/distribution lines, SCADA systems, infrastructure interconnection/regionalization, energy efficiency and water conservation. Can finance planning, design, pre-project costs, and land acquisition. Interest rates 0% to 4% depending on ownership and Median Household Income. Subsidy available for Disadvantaged or Severely Disadvantaged entities. Preliminary applications accepted year-round with quarterly ranking reviews.
