Dr. Christie L. Peterson Scholarship Grant

The Dr. Christie L. Peterson Scholarship, administered by the Marshall County Community Foundation, aims to empower disadvantaged youth in Marshall County, aged 16 to 21, by providing annual scholarships for trade education. The scholarship is open to all eligible residents and does not require a high school diploma. It fosters community growth by connecting local students with opportunities to learn valuable skills, ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide one or more annual scholarships to help Marshall County disadvantaged youth — preferably between the ages of 16 and 21 — learn how to make a living by learning a trade.

Eligibility

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide one or more annual scholarships to help Marshall County disadvantaged youth — preferably between the ages of 16 and 21 — learn how to make a living by learning a trade.A high school diploma is not a pre-requisite for receipt of this scholarship.The scholarship may be awarded for secondary or post-secondary courses.The Dr. Christie L. Peterson Scholarship is renewable annually to previous recipients.
