Downtown San Diego Lions Club Scholarship Fund

The Downtown San Diego Lions Club offers scholarships to support local high school students who are committed to serving their communities while pursuing higher education.

Geographic Scope: San Diego County, California - specifically serving graduating seniors from the following high schools:

• Hoover High School
• Garfield High School
• Kearny High School
• Lincoln High School
• Monarch High School
• Twain High School
• Gompers High School
• San Diego High School

Focus Areas:

• Education support for high school seniors

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a graduating senior from one of the listed high schools
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with an alien registration card
• Must demonstrate merit (academic achievements and potential for future success)

• Must have actively served their communities with continued commitment to community service

What the Scholarship Covers: The $2,000 can be applied toward tuition or other educational expenses at any community college or vocational school of the student's choice.
