Overview: The Downtown San Diego Lions Club offers scholarships to support local high school students who are committed to serving their communities while pursuing higher education.

Geographic Scope: San Diego County, California - specifically serving graduating seniors from the following high schools:

  • Hoover High School

  • Garfield High School

  • Kearny High School

  • Lincoln High School

  • Monarch High School

  • Twain High School

  • Gompers High School

  • San Diego High School
  • Award Amount: $2,000 per scholarship recipient

  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a graduating senior from one of the listed high schools

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident with an alien registration card

  • What the Scholarship Covers: The $2,000 can be applied toward tuition or other educational expenses at any community college or vocational school of the student's choice.
