Focus: Highlights and awards excellence in high school musical theatre

Program Description

• Professional arts adjudicators attend participating high school musicals and nominate the best performers from each production
• Spring: All nominees attend a week-long masterclass workshop led by award-winning creatives, ending in a showcase competition on stage at the Tulsa PAC
• Overall best female and male performers win an all-expense paid trip to represent Eastern Oklahoma in New York City
• NYC: Participants attend another week-long masterclass workshop led by award-winning creatives
• National competition: Compete on a Broadway stage in front of Broadway producers and directors at the Jimmy® Awards (The National High School Musical Theatre Awards®) in the summer

• High school students in Eastern Oklahoma

Awards

• All-expense paid trip to New York City
