Digital Equity Initiative Partnership Grant

The Digital Equity Initiative Partnership Grant aims to support collaborative projects that address digital equity needs in Essex County. This grant prioritizes four key impact areas: devices, access, literacy, and collaboration. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations recognized as tax-exempt or those with fiscal sponsorship under section 501(c)(3). The program encourages proposals that involve partnerships and integrated systems to effectively tackle these challenges within the community.

The Digital Equity Initiative Partnership Grant provides support for collaborative projects focused on digital equity related needs serving communities in Essex County.
Funding Priorities
Funding will prioritize the four impact areas of our digital equity plan: devices, access, literacy, and collaboration. Proposals may take on any or a combination of these focus areas and must be submitted as a collaborative project with at least one other partner. Integrated systems based projects are highly encouraged.

Eligibility

Only nonprofit organizations recognized as tax exempt or those with fiscal sponsorship under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code are eligible for consideration.ECCF is committed to non-discrimination. Ineligibility

Generally, our grants are not awarded:To individualsTo state or local government agencies including public schoolsFor political purposesFor debt or deficit reductionTo replace public funding, or for purposes which are generally a public sector responsibilityTo support academic researchFor travel outside the regionTo organizations headquartered outside of Essex County, unless they have a physical presence in the Merrimack Valley.

501(c)(3) nonprofits or fiscally sponsored organizations headquartered in Essex County or with a physical presence in the Merrimack Valley; proposals must be collaborative projects with at least one partner. Returning grantees are asked to cap requests at $25,000.
